PATisDOPE 2012 Best Dress people in Hip-Hop (List)

Wiz Khalifa: Let the hate begin. From first glance at the album cover we can see that Wiz has found his swag as a rich hippie. From the silk and floral shirts, to the blonde patch and spotted fur coat, he is very much an ummm individual. Fashion is all about taking risks and feeling comfortable about it and that what I think he is doing. From what I can see, he is for the most part getting most of his clothing designed overseas while wearing the bush, skinny tight ass pants, and of course Chuck Taylor's that we know him for. Wiz's style is dope, hated on by many, but to me its dope. Not the best in the game but the uniqueness and confidence he has lands him the number 10 spot on my last

Wale: It's been about 6+ years that Wale has been relevant in hip hop style, but he hasn't really changed. I'm not saying that it should, but he got money and still stayed loyal to the sneaker head back pack style that he rocked when he got on. Yeah he is now mixing it up with some gold and luxury designers, landing him at number 9, but the fit and combinations are the same. I have been a fan of this guys whole demeanor for years and the "I get my shoes months before you" piece of his style keeps him on my list, but I'm hoping to see more than jerseys and fitteds in the future.

Mikey Rocks (Cool Kids): You can't knock his OG vintage style complete with frames and the hip hop staple gold chain. This guy even made his style a commodity through his own online store. He has been killing the style competition long before the myspace days. Mikey Rocks is deserving of the number 8 spot, for more reason than one, just do your research and you will agree.

Kid Cudi: The number 7 goes to none other than the lonely loner Scott Mescudi. His style is very basic, but unique at the same time. Cudi mastered the art of attention-getting, whether it's a dope hair cut or fitted hoodies and clean jordan 3s we all know Kid Cudi does damage even in simple ensembles. Whether YOU like it or not, there's just something about his style that gets the job done.

Teyana Taylor: She said Google her, but I say check her Instagram. You will be one of the thousands of fans of not only her sexy body, but her sense of fashion. Taylor and her overly flashy tomboy style has been evolving daily. The reason why I placed her so high on this list is because she can not only dress down and throw together some J's and a snapback better than most dudes on the street, but she also wears the heck out of a dress. Showcasing her lips, breast, and flat abs grabs our attention, no matter the gender.

Tyga: Whether you know him as the king of gold chains or Reebok's golden boy, Tyga has undeniable style. So much style that his product line with Reebok don't look all that bad to be honest. Tyga's LA style is versatile enough to hold is own in red carpet tailor made suits to the urban wear while maintaining his own look. Everything he wears is clean so I rank Tyga number 5

Theo London: Yes I once called him a Kayne clone, but I got to give respect to this guy for working hard to get to where he is now. His pants may be super skinny, and he wears snapbacks like everyone else... but real niggas understand what this guy is doing. He is a genius and behind the scenes he does so much is the fashion industry like putting out his Stussy colab and the LVRS collection that sells out almost every time. Respect dude.

A$AP Rocky/ A$AP Mob: I can't just go into this saying its all Rocky knowing what I know. You got A$AP Bari who influences some of the fashion ideas, then A$AP Ferg having hella swag, and the rest of the team who is just up on their fashion shit. But with Rocky being the one with most the spotlight he has mad a killing in the fashion world in so little time. He has covered well over 10 magazine covers, received recognition from Jeremy Scott and Black Scale, and created a collection with RSVP Gallery, so Rocky has definitely made his presence known. Need I remind you he was one of the first guys spotted wearing the SSUR Comme des Fuckdown beanie trailing the path for all the other dick riders to do the same. He clearly has been influencing many people in the fashion arena whether they admit it or not. Rocky's style debuted at the perfect time earning him the number 3 spot.

Pharrell: I forgot all about this guy in recent months, but he is obviously well respected and no hip hop fashion list would be complete without him. He had a great showing at this years fashion week NYC and it was so dope that I had to pay homage and give him the number 2 spot. We all know his great designing and marketing skills from the consumer perspective, but he is also highly regarded in the fashion world and knows how to make us jock something he wears no matter what.

Kanye West: Of course he taught us all! From the all black leather to all white linen and everything in between, Kanye West does this fashion shit and does it well. He is my 2012 best dressed in the game. Just check out his style in countless music videos, award show red carpets, and of course one of the most successfuls Nike collabs. Whether or not the Yeezy's jumped over the jumpman, can you blaine me for crowing him hip hop fashion king?

Honorable Mentions:
Vinny Chase, Stalley, Big Sean, and Mac Miller. Lupe. Fabolous. Jim Jones. Curren$y. Diggy.

This was dope. I agreed with you on Wale's portion of the list because I've been a fan of his for the longest myself. I feel like Wiz should've been a bit higher though.
