Beauty of the week ..
London ZHILOH. I created the name "Zhiloh" on September 25, 2009 randomly playing in my notes on my iPhone and i picked the name. It's sort of like my alter ego.The growth on social networking started on Myspace and my fan base grew tremendously from there. I've been apart of an amazing yet tragic grind my whole life with my mother Donibe. My mother birthed me August 12, 1993 at the age of 16. Raising me as a single mother until I was about 5, the journey of my stardom began at birth. Losing my step father who took care of me since I was 5 turned my whole life around. Going from traveling the world, having money and no worries to scraping for coins and worrying about things I never imagined took a major tole in my life causing me to grow smarter and become stronger.
I had to grow up quick and figure out who I want to be and what impact I want to leave as a young girl in this world starving for my dreams to come true. My mother is my biggest inspiration she teaches me to stay true to myself, honesty and loyalty. I honestly don't know anyone stronger who've been through a copious amount of struggles and still manages to be triumphant and keeps me ahead of the game. Our story continues however the struggle will be over soon. I'm an 18 years old, starving artist living in NYC currently but originally from the DMV. The journey to New York is a blessing from the Most High. I've always wanted to attend school in NYC so when the opportunity presented itself there was no turning back. My mother looked me in my face when we arrived to New York and told me with eyes full of tears, as she was determined for me to move to New York.
Growing up I saw the luxury side of NYC but never did I imagine the darker side to the Big Apple. The City that Never Sleeps also the City that Never weeps. The hustlers, swindlers, fashion life, homeless people leaving on the subway just a whole different world which I wasn't use to, where people don't care about how pretty you are it's all about who you know not what you know. If your hands are not full of shopping bags walking the streets you don't get treated as a human more like a slave to society. There's a million pretty faces so my job is to fight to stand out show the world what makes me different from everyone else. Anyone can take a picture edit it on instagram, wear nice clothes in a dressing room and pretend its their own. Anyone can have a lot of followers on these social networks but why not use all of that to my advantage? London Zhiloh, Young entrepreneur, model, actress, poet and designer.
